Please explore the links below for support regarding children’s wellbeing. You are always welcome to speak to a member of staff if you have concerns about your child’s wellbeing. This could be your child’s class teacher, our family liaison officer (Lydia Aldred) or our SENCO and mental health champion (Katherine Thomas).
Just One Norfolk
The Just One Norfolk website has advice for parents of children age 0-19 on a wide range of topics, including sleep, toileting, behaviour, special education needs, emotional wellbeing and healthy lifestyles. The Just One Norfolk team includes emotional wellbeing practitioners who work with pupils and families – you can phone the helpline to self-refer.
Point 1 is a service available in Norfolk that supports the emotional wellbeing of children and young people. Parents can refer their child themselves using the helpline. Point 1 can support children with a range of difficulties, including (but not limited to) anxiety, low mood, issues around food, low self-esteem, coping with loss and anger management.
If as a parent you need well-being support, you may wish to self-refer to the Norfolk NHS well-being service. Additionally, your GP can of course advise regarding mental health support for children and adults.
