Year 1/2 Letters/Forms

We encourage children in Year 1 to hand in any letters or forms themselves as part of becoming more independent.  TA’s will only be checking book bags occasionally.  Please remind your children if there are letters or forms in their book bags to hand in.

Counselling Service for Children

At school, we provide a counselling service for children called ‘Time for Me’ which is run by Alison Shingfield from the Benjamin Foundation.  If you would like to find out more about this service, please contact the School Office.

Reading

In Rosecroft Primary school we love books. We share books, read our favourite stories and read books in class.

Your child also has access to online reading in the form of e-books, which are colour banded, through Active Learn Primary or Bug Club as we like to call it.  Each pupil will be given a user name, password and the school code.  If  you cannot find these, please contact us and we will be happy to supply you with your child’s log in details.   The url is:-  www.activelearnprimary.co.uk.  Please make use of this wonderful free resource to encourage your child with their reading.
